What is a Dragon Reward Point and how do I get it?
Dragon Reward points are app-based points system that allows users to accumulate and exchange your points into popular e-Vouchers. You can also donate your points to local and international charitable organisations. You can get Dragon Reward points by depositing coins / cash notes at Coin Dragon kiosks, conveniently converting every $0.1 of coin / cash value into 1 Dragon Reward point.
What can I do with Dragon Reward points?
You can redeem the points and exchange them into popular e-Vouchers / e-Gift Cards. You can also donate your points to local and international charitable organisations. The exchanged e-Vouchers / e-Gift Cards can be spent at the issuing merchant's physical or online stores.
- Points can be exchanged at a rate of 10 points per HK$1 of e-Voucher. (HK$50 e-Voucher = 500 pts, HK$100 e-Voucher = 1000 pts).
- e-Vouchers are issued in fixed amounts ranging from 200 to 2000 points (or $20 to $200)
Is there a charge/fee to redeem Dragon Reward Points for merchant e-Vouchers / e-Gift Cards?
No. All in-app services are completely free of charge for the users. No hidden charges / fees.
Can I receive a refund for Dragon Rewards Points?
Dragon Rewards points are non-refundable for cash or any cash equivalent.
Do My e-Vouchers / e-Gift Card expire?
Yes. Most e-Vouchers / e-Gift Cards have an expiry date typically ranging from 3-12 months. Check 'My Vouchers' for individual expiry dates on each E-Voucher. Make sure to redeem the E-Voucher before the expiry date indicated. * SUGGESTION: We recommend that you exchange / redeem Dragon Rewards points only when you’re about to make a purchase using the e-Voucher.
Are e-Vouchers / e-Gift Cards refundable?
E-Vouchers / e-Gift Cards that have been dispatched on the Dragon Rewards mobile app are NOT refundable. If you believe you did not receive an e-Voucher / e-Gift Card that you ordered by Dragon Rewards mobile app, please contact support@dragonrewards.io
Do Dragon Rewards points expire?
Yes. ONLY if there is no transaction (redemptions or top-ups) on the account for 12 months. In that case, the unspent points shall automatically expire. There shall be NO additional reminders/notifications regarding the expiry. Any top-ups or redemption activities shall reset the expiry of all Dragon Reward points for another 12 months. What devices does this run on?
The app works on any iOS device running iOS 11 or newer and/or any Android device running AndroidOS 6+.
How is this app different from other e-Wallet / Rewards apps?
Dragon Rewards is, technically, an Offline-2-Online (O2O) app. Dragon Rewards works in unison with a network of self-service kiosks for depositing loose change ( cash or coins ). A user can conveniently process their unused loose change at a kiosk, and manage its value on the app. The value can then be redeemed for e-Voucher or e-Gift Card rewards from various big brands/merchants. E-Wallet apps are great for storing value for small transactions (i.e small purchases at convenience stores, or paying peers electronically). Reward apps are good for tracking reward points that are accumulated and exchanged for promotional (digital) goods.
How do I delete my account and/or user data if I choose to uninstall the app?
- Email support@dragonrewards.io with the subject "ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST" followed by your account number (phone number) within the contents of the email.
- You shall receive an acknowledgement confirming the deletion within 14 days of the email request, after which all your user account information (including and limited to username, email (if any), password, redemption history) shall be removed from our system within 30 days.
